Photos of my life

Muscle-Powered Bluetooth Car

University of CIncinnati

This summer I had the opportunity to put together a biosensor reader that my professor, Dr. Hoilett, designed. Our final consisted of taking biological readings and use them to either power a light or turn a motor. I decided to take it one step further and power an entire car. This car is powered (on and off) by the movement of muscle. Signals are communicated through bluetooth. (2025)

Beekeeping

Nashville, Tennessee

I am an apiarist, which is another word for beekeeper! We have had up to 7 hives in the past. If you don’t know already from the efforts to save bee colonies, keeping bees alive is a hard thing to do.

Matt & Cheyenne

Nashville, Tennessee

This was during a cadaver lab that I had the opportunity to take part in. Our objective was to figure out where to insert a SCS into a leg so that it can be less invasive. (2020)

CIncinnati Animal CARE humane society

CIncinnati, Ohio

During my first semester of college, I decided to volunteer at the Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society because I have a huge love for animals! This is one of the cats that was in the cat center. He is one of the oldest cats there. At the shelter, my work consists of feeding the cats and dogs, cleaning the kennels, and making sure they are happy!

Gobble Gobble GivE

Nashville, Tennessee

My family decided to try out a new way of giving back to our community on Thanksgiving! We volunteered at Gobble Gobble Give. We made and packaged meals that would be given out to the homeless. We also sorted clothes that would be given out as well. This was a huge event: we ended up feeding over 1,000 people!(2023)

Volunteering at CCM

cincinnati, ohio

I volunteered for the Lunar New Year Orchestra Concert at the College-Conservatory of Music. It was a very enthralling experience. A piece of music written in the 1900s was played. A special guest, who played the pipa in the original performance, played it live(in the red dress). (2024)

ENED Robot

University of CIncinnati

This was my team’s robot that we created for our project. It had to follow a line and pick containers up autonomously. This was a whole semester project. It was in my Engineering Education(ENED) class. I learned a lot about teamwork and time management because of this project.

Arduino Game

CAD Final Exam

This is a game that involves the use of buttons and a matrix. If an arrow shows up, and the button on the side corresponding to the direction the arrow is pressed, then a checkmark is given after the button is pressed. If the button that is pressed is opposite the direction of the arrow, then an X will show up. This, along with a few other games and emojis, were created for my final exam in my CAD class. (2024)

(This class was my first BME specific class. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. It was a perfect intro to Biomedical Engineering).

cincinnati art museum

eden park, cincinnati

I finally visited the (free) art museum! There were some very interesting pieces. This was one that I thought had a lot of emotion. Other than paintings, the art museum features statues, drawings, sketches, woodwork, as well as glass art. There are also many murals created by the local Rookwood Pottery Company. (2024)

Clean Up Cincy

South Cumminsville, Ohio

I recently volunteered with the organization Clean Up Cincy.  For one of the events, I helped clean up invasive trees and plants from a river bank. This was in preparation for a bike path. When I arrived at the site, I did not realize there was a river.  When we were done,  the site was so clear you could drive a car down to the riverbank without a scratch. Seeing how much could be done in only a few hours of service was a great feeling. (2025)

LED and Battery holder

University of CIncinnati

This was designed and 3-D printed by me. It is a holder for a PCB with an LED. the battery holder is attached to the back. This was created for a project in my CAD class. (2024)

Mount Waleale

Nāpali Coast

This is the location of the “wettest place on earth”.  This is due to the rain and wind fronts it gets. Combined with the height of the mountain, they have no place to escape, thus causing lots of condensation and rain.

Nāpali Coast

kaua'i, hawai'i

Fall break of 2022, my sister finally accomplished her dream of going to Hawai’i! We visited Kauai’i and Oahu. We went on so many amazing hikes in Kaua’i(even if some were illegal).
